My Father Eugene Mickelson was under the care of Liuba and Daniela. My Father was in the end stage of Dementia. The care that they provided was extraordinary. They were so patient and caring with every aspect of my Dads needs. They called me on a regular basis to keep me updated. I would highly recommend this facility for your loved ones.

We are so blessed to have our mother in the care of Danubius. Mom has been a resident for 5 years now and we couldn’t ask for a more awesome experience! After our dad died, Mom needed full time care due to her advanceing stages of dementia. Dunubius offers a home (not an institution) similar to the house she raised her family in for 40 years. The home serves only a handful of residents, which allows for quality care to be provided to each person. The house is always exceptionally clean, and the home-cooked meals are healthy and appetizing. Liuba and Daniella are great at ensuring Mom’s medical, grooming, and overall health are met with a standard of high quality. Danubius may be a small home care facility, but they are mighty in their attention to ensuring Mom is loved and well-cared for!!!

Our 89 year old Godfather lived at the Danubius Home in Fair Oaks, CA for 4 years.  We found the owners to be gracious, easy to work with and very caring individuals.  Their employees were conscientious as well as concerned for the welfare of the residents and their needs.Both Liuba and Daniella kept us informed of any needs our loved one had as well as keeping us updated as to his current activities.  We were always apprised if there was any concern as he continued to age and his needs increased.

The home was well maintained and constantly in a state of thorough cleanliness.  All activities were performed without distracting the residents or creating problems for them while staff continued seamlessly to accommodate their individual needs.  We have personally observed the care and planning taken to insure a varied and healthy diet and menu of fresh foods prepared and served with consideration to individual limitations, likes and dislikes.

Every day you went out of your way, as did your caregivers, to make him comfortable and feel at home. Due to his stroke he had special challenges, however that did not deter you one minute from tending to his varied needs and making sure he was safe. I will forever be grateful to you and the rest of the staff at Danubius Care Homes.

We were fortunate to find Danubius Home Care for my 90-year-old mother with dementia. My mother lived at Danubius for over 2 years and passed away in her own bed under Hospice care. My mother, a former army nurse, was always hardworking and physically active. Although her mind was quickly slipping, she wanted to exercise and participate in chores. Danubius took her for walks every day, sometimes twice a day. They assisted her with simple chores to help her feel useful. In every way Danubius became “home” to not only my mother, but to me. The loving care provided by the caregivers was very touching. Hugs were given on the way out the door and hugs greeted you upon return. The home was always clean and tidy. With so much to worry about with a parent suffering from dementia, what a relief to know that my mother was well cared for—emotionally and physically. My mother was always smartly dressed, her hair styled, and nails polished. As my mother began to further decline, Danubius was right there, letting me know her status and helping me navigate options that might make my mother more comfortable. Thank you, Danubius.
